Mousse aux Fruit de Passion. Passion fruit mousse, served in an “almond lace cup,” with pineapple in a dark rum sugar lemon juice. Now anything with rum is just a yes for me. This is the second time meg and I have had this desert and it is just heaven. it’s light, and rich at the same time. The cookie cup, that the mousse rests in is just as good and decadent as the rest of the desert, and the pineapple is fresh.

“Poulet Roti et Gnocchi a la Creme.” Well, one can never go wrong with gnocchi. I loved the way this dish was set up, the “poulet roti” to one side and the “gnocchi a la creme” to the other. My poor mother lost three gnocchi right off the bat to my father, meg and I, which left her a little disappointed in the number of gnocchi on her plate. Her only complaint being that she could have used approximately five more gnocchi. The cream sauce was super lemony, and super buttery, and as my mom said probably an entire day’s worth of calories, that probably being the reason why it was so ridiculously delicious.
Kat and gnocchi. Classic.
So this guy Cree that I know had recently gone out to breakfast with his friends at this place called The Paramount. It’s near the commons. Its definitely pretty popular. He tried to take me last Sunday, but we went at 1045 on a Sunday morning and the line was actually an hour long, so we reluctantly left and decided to go back another time.
Meg and I returned this morning, and as far as breakfast goes, this has just beat out the Emmanuel College cafeteria by a landslide.
French toast, with banana, and caramel, topped with powdered sugar and butter. Not only was this some of the best french toast I have ever had, perfectly crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside, to top it off with banana and caramel is just heavenly. Best breakfast I have had in a long time. SO FILLING though, I could barely finish it.
Kat ordered the super chocolatey flavor don’t remember what it was exactly. But she says ” it was very chocolatey” it was chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and fudge chunks. To top off the chocolate theme she got it in a chocolate-oreo dipped cone. I’m going to guess it tasted just as good as it looked, I had a little bit of flavor envy. Overall Emack and Bolio’s is worth checking out if you haven’t already there are afew in the city. You can check out thier locations below !
